A glimpse of Paris

In an Edinburgh cake shop window. The shop isn't open yet, but clearly they are doing a bit of promotion with their impressive window display. And when I crossed the road again, I bumped into P at the bus stop who I shared a room with when we went to Paris in 2010. Small world!
Another, 'out to buy lunch' blip. Man in Greggs today trying to buy a sausage roll with a phone. No, Greggs hasn't gone all hi-tech, he was trying to persuade the woman behind the counter that the phone in his hand represented money and she should accept it as payment. She was having none of it, but I left before the transaction was concluded. I'm thinking that 'drink had been taken', or maybe something stronger.
