Typical English Bank Holiday!!
It's wet, cold and windy so the Thaxted Morris Men were dancing in the church rather than outside! I had an alternative title prepared "Dancing in the Rain", until I got up to the church.
A group of men and boys dressed in white with bells on their shins and a fancy hat decorated with badges and flowers, carrying either a big wooden stick or two white handkerchiefs, may sound odd, but this group have been in existence since 1911. More pictures
The Morris ring comprise of more than 200 clubs situated in England (I think they are all in England).
