Laundry Day, Dean Village
We took a little wander along the Water of Leith today from the Modern Art Galleries to Stockbridge, passing through Dean Village en route. We came across Well Court, which was restored a few years ago. It is dated 1884 on the building and was originally intended as accommodation for local workers.
I thought it looked very quaint...I particularly liked the washing on the line! Adds a little something I think ;-)
A bit about the restoration and history of Well Court can be found here.
