Younger You

I have been doing the April Photo challenge although not really using them for blipland. I quite like the freedom of using blip for whatever takes my fancy. A little journal to keep track of things. However, that fact I haven't left the house today has meant my "younger you" picture is probably my best effort of the day. I remember when the original pic was taken. We had to take an extra activity class in sixth form and I chose photography. In fact so many of us chose this (instead of all the sport classes they'd put on) that we never actually got to do anything other than this. Pretty sure we just took it in turns for the teacher to take a pic of us which he then got developed at boots and gave us the next week. It took the full 6 weeks to get through us all at which point the class ended.

The weather is miserable out there today. A touch of post Easter egg blues meant we sat in watching films and playing Frustration. The highlight of our day was the "tidy up challenge". The person who tidies the most in 3 minutes gets to use the Hoover! Couldn't believe my luck when all 3 girls blitzed the living room in no time. I decided it was a draw and let them share the hoovering. M got the stairs and hall, E got the living room. Sadly the fun was all interrupted when I caught my little toe on the door frame and felt it snap sideways. I have been wallowing in self pity and frozen sweetcorn ever since.
