Meanwhile, back in the fish tank...this is Barry. He used to be orange but the chlorine in the water apparently turned him white. It seems to suit him though.

Bennet (our visitor, not his fishy namesake) left at 5.15 am this morning with Mr DawnC for the coach pick up in Haslemere. Having waved him off with Sons 1 and 2 who gave me the fright of my life by getting out of bed at 5 am unprompted, I happened to pass Bennet's room and noticed that his wallet (containing his money, passport and some medication) was on the floor. I then went off in hot pursuit to hand over said item so that he could go home. As I type, he will have another four hours of the 16 hour coach journey still to go...

The fish are still going strong - although Blanket had us worried this morning when he didn't move for a couple of hours and seemed to be breathing very strangely. We went out to get some plants for the tank and, fortunately, when we got back Blanket was swimming round normally again as if nothing had happened. Phew!
