Moor than we bargained for

We said goodbye this morning to our fabulous cornish tower. We were sad, although it will be nice to walk horizontally to the kitchen and not have to mount 40 steps each time. Before departing we walked around Trelissick gardens - beautiful Spring flowers.

We headed North. Around lunchtime we were near Dartmoor, so we went on an impromptu random explore guided by Annie-nav. Eventually we parked by a likely looking spot, and on walking uphill for a few minutes we found this view. It's Melton Hill with stunning 360 degree views.

Now we are home with a very happy cat and only a short, flat walk to the kitchen. How conventional!
