Food Miles
Back to work today for us. Boo. Still, Annie has Friday off too, so it's only a 2 day week. Hoorah.
We have friends staying for a few days from Switzerland - Meike and Fosca. Conversation over dinner moved to the subject of food miles, because in Switzerland the supply of food is much more season-based.
This T-shirt is Meike's - she wasn't up for having her full portrait taken after a long journey, but this is a portion of her!
This is Meike: My sister, who lives in Mississippi, sent me this T-shirt, and I thought it fitted the dinner conversation theme - "buy local" the Missisippi way.
