Deep Water

For the foreseeable future Tuesday is swimming lesson day. Only this time around it was more stand at the side and try and coax him into the water day!

I guess it was to be expected, this is the second set of lessons after a long summer break. Last time Dad's were allowed in the water, but as I found out last week this is no longer the case. Rhys always seems to be the small kid and the youngest and I feel for him. It was the same for me when I was little and whilst confidence will obviously grow, some of us need a bit more nurturing.

After a quick dry off and change it was a dash to nursery to collect Iesty and then home for some freshly made pasta and mousey mousse concocted earlier in the day. It's amazing what you can achieve with a packet of strawberry Angel Delight, some apple slices for ears and grapes for the nose. Obviously no mousey mousse would be complete without a sprinkle of hundreds and thousands and a licorice tail (and not a recipe book in sight)!

With the boys dropped off I laced up the running shoes and went for a long run in the rain and a splash in the puddles.
