Coffee & TV

A day out of the office to a hotel near Gatwick today for a corporate-style roadshow - turn up, put badge on (cringe), drink coffee (and eat some quite fine croissants), smile a bit (always difficult), shake some hands (just about manageable, although I can't stand people with limp hand-shakes) then get the hell out.

We were warned the press might be there but I thought that wouldn't involve me. Surely not. Nooo, not me. Alas, a few hours later, library pictures are now on BBC tape of me looking a bit of a twit doing "Man at C&A" pointing poses and holding fake conversations - more cringing.

So when it all appears on a news report in a few months time, rest assured you'll all be the last to know...

Still, one more day to go and then two weeks holiday - oh yes.
