pretty in pink

another Edinburgh meeting today and a free afternoon in my favourite city. This time I headed to the Royal Botanic Garden, a lovely spot at any time of year but especially beautiful in Spring.

Took lots of photos...hard to choose just one, but here it is. The tree has been wrapped in pink to celebrate the Moonwalk in June. I did this walk a few years ago - 26 miles through Edinburgh at night. It took 7 hours, after which I lay down on the grass of Inverleith Park and fell asleep.

It was a hot day today and I was dressed for winter. I ended up nearly missing the train home.
