Wednesday: More Exciting Than You'd Think

My day was much more interesting than this photo would indicate.  It involved a guard of honour, a police escort, some sharp salutes and also a peacock.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to blip any of it as only official photographers were allowed.  Drat!!  You'll just have to take my word for it!

Luckily, the house near our local supermarket has an interesting roof.  Thank goodness for small mercies!
