I spotted this on the way to the beach this morning (Me Mam's dog 'in tow') ...
This fishing vessel has been parked at the end of a street and the note on it reads -
So that it be known
This fishing vessel was placed here because of work being done on the nearby boat park. The owner is a life long resident of this street.
However the residents of number 18, 19, 20 (adjacent) object to the boat being here and one (Number 18) has asked the council to have it removed.
This boat is part of the heritage of the fishing village of Cullercoats.
A neighbour dispute with a difference!
A hugely enjoyable few days up in the North East. Back home now and Jackie Milburn and Dot Cotton seem pleased to see the return of the family.
