Totnes

We finally made it to Totnes today. A really interesting town, full of small independent shops and 'green' cafés. Interestingly we had a similar experience as in Topsham yesterday when our order for coffee was forgotten until we enquired, we then appeared to get the blame for ordering it from the wrong person, i.e. the person behind the counter taking orders and money doh! It must be a quaint Devon habit.

Overall I liked Totnes and, even though we didn't get to the castle, I took a fair few photos see - Totnes photos.

The journey back to the chalet was a bit of a nightmare when the sat-nav took us down some of the narrowest, bendyist, single track roads (I say roads in the loosest form of the word) in Devon. We reached the main road eventually, but the experience left us frazzled!
