Cherry Wand - Wednesday 11th April 2012

Today the sunshine drew me out into the garden to start making a new wand for a special person. I choose this piece of cherry wood. As it just felt right for the person in mind!
The wood was striped and roughtly rubbed down and will be soaked in bleach water for two days. Before being dried again and rubbed to a silky finish. Then it will be coated in beeswax and balsam for protection.
The wand should last for many years to come. )O(
