Showgirl

I was reading a book on holiday that I've mentioned before, 'Bad Vibes' by musician and 'entertainer' (the stated occupation on his passport, apparently) Luke Haines. Strangely though, I didn't consciously listen to any of his music whilst reading this which would have been the obvious thing. The odd Haines' classic popped up on a playlist here or there but that hardly counts.

I'm rectifiying that now I'm back with some chronologically-ordered Auteurs albums. So, starting at the beginning, here's the opening track of the debut album. And, rest assured, tomorrow will not feature track two, the day after track three, etc. It's a one-off. Think of it as a treat.
