Collared finchbill

Shanghai and Suzhou are both big cities (23 million and 10 million respectively) so it was a nice contrast to get out to Moganshan, a mountain district 200 km to the east. I'd seen a few birds in Shanghai but this was my chance to do some proper birdwatching. I didn't quite know what to expect because the precise distribution of species is not well known and Moganshan is not on the visiting birdwatchers' itinerary. This collared finchbill was one of the species I was hoping to see, but I also saw two or three other species there that are not known to occur in Zhejiang province, so I'll be writing to the Shanghai Bird Club to let them know.
