God Påske.
Skiing at Tjørhomfjellet Alpinsenter today - what a brilliant day. We woke up early and ate some sausage rolls before driving up to Sirdal on some slightly scary snowy roads. I will never, ever get bored of the scenery we passed on the way up to the hills. When we arrived, there were quite a few people already, but the quick chairlifts and excellent organisation meant there were only very short queues - the Scottish skicentres could learn a lot from Tjørhom!
After exploring the routes, a quick coffee and some great runs, we cooked up some pølser for lunch on the engangsgrill (literal translation - one time grill - a disposable BBQ). Lovely! We managed to fit in quite a few more good runs before M bought us a couple of Tuborgs to finish off our day. We stopped by byrkjedalstunet, an amazing candle shop and restaurant on the way home. M and I might have got a bit carried away and bought ourselves a reindeer skin... He's called Lars :)
That evening, we decided to order pizza for tea and watched We Bought a Zoo, which was really heartwarming, in a cheesy sort of way! Brilliant day.
