Cherry Blossom.

A slightly unusual day today. Son had to go to a funeral first thing this morning and borrowed the car. So, we gave him a run to his work afterwards. By this time, it was getting on for lunch time and we decided to have lunch out. We asked Ali & Euan if they would like to come along and they agreed so it was a good little lunch party and Euan behaved impeccably (of course).
The afternoon was spent in the garden and that is when I captured this shot of our flowering cherry. This wee tree has a double life as it blossoms in December as well - covered in a couple of hundred little coloured Christmas lights.
