The Apple Trees

On the terrace live two tiny potted apple trees. They are at least 25 years old and previously lived in my good friend André's garden, with whom I spent many an evening andemptying many a bottle discussing his (now-changed) marital status. The trees don't do too well and I'm trying to resuscicate them with lots of fertile soil, fertilizer and encouraging talk.

On this blip they seem rather large. I had to lie on my belly to get a good picture... I couldn't avoid a few of the birch branches, though.
