Berries & Brandy!

This is my fancy jar! Thanks to KoLaLa Bear, whom I shamelessly copied who inspired me to this blip.

From last years berry harvest I made a layer of blackcurrants, a layer of candy sugar, a layer of whitecurrants, again a layer of candy sugar and finally a layer of redcurrants. Finally I topped it off with "Obstler", fruit brandy from Germany. I have yet to taste it...


(Underneath: the kitchen worktop. It is made from belgian "Bluestone", from the famous "Carrieres du Hainaut" and I can look at it for hours on end... (I even have my floors covered with it...) (also here and here!
