Tail slat

So that's why there are gaps between the seated planks on picnic benches! All the better to fit your tail between.

I met up with Caroline who runs the Retro Hub at the West Norwood Feast. I was quickly promoted to Joint Hub Leader when I said I was happy to take on more responsibility, such as booking in the stalls. We're going to try it out and see if I can manage it amongst my work commitments. It sounds like fun! We had a good blether, too.

The handyman came to visit in the afternoon to fix out exterior window sills. It started raining, though, so he couldn't finish the job. While he was working, I left the door on the latch. Whisky was asleep beside me on the cushion when Graeme walked into the kitchen. The poor cat got such a fright when he woke up and realised that there was a stranger only a metre away that he belted to the cat flap far too fast and walloped himself. Oh dear. He's OK, though.

Happy Weekend!
