The Brownadder!!

There are Whiteadder and Blackadder Rivers but this is a brown version of the Whiteadder. I took it on my return from Melrose hoping that Friday the thirteenth is to be insignificant!

It is taken from a lovely old bridge at Edrom and I had a wee walk round the area. It is so quiet and a lovely hamlet of houses.

Back home and on the bike - and about 2 miles from home the chain came off! Well perhaps you heard me!!!! Luckily I had my phone - so called Halfords trying not to explode. He casually told me how to deal with the "rear mech" like I am a mechanic...but I got it fixed.

Perhaps this bike thing has been a mistake???? I use up far more calories walking!
