Trip to London

Decisions, decisions; what picture do I blip?
Friday 13th is that a good day to travel? Well, we had a fantastic time. However, there was one poor lady on our train that didn't have such a good time. The train stopped at Northampton where it joins other carriages before continuing on to London. We were told this stopover would be for 10 minutes, so if anyone wished to get out and stretch their legs or get a drink they could. Well this ladies husband got off to get coffee, but after only five minutes the train pulled out of the station. At first the lady thought that it was the beginning of the shunting, but no, the train had departed without her husband getting back on board. I felt really sorry for her.
First stop on arrival in London, checked into the Imperial Hotel Russell Square.
It was a wonderful morning so we to the London Eye. I would recommend to everyone, if you ever get the opportunity, take a trip (flight). From there we went to St Paul's Cathedral. Again, fantastic. The climb up to the Whispering Gallery was hard going, but worth every step. Off to Covent Garden to be serenaded and then on to Piccadilly Theatre to watch Ghost the Musical.
As I have already said previously, what a wonderful day.
Two very tired people retreat back to the hotel for a well deserved rest.
