Garden helper

Spoilt for choice today with photos - and all I was doing as weeding the vegetable bed in order to plant out the potatos.

I had plenty of help - this blackbird has made her nest in the hugh eucalyptus at the bottom of the garden. She popped down to pick up the nice juicy worms and other insects I turned up. Her mate was not so brave and spent most of the time hidden in a bush.

My little robin also made his presence known - at one point providing the classic photo opportunity by sitting on my spade. You can see him here
