le weekend

After yesterday's eye-poke-a-thon, a prescribed dose of wine and a long sleep seems to have helped no end with the eye; it's blurry and throbs but there's no sharp pain and I can actually open my eye. Woot!

A lovely day if a bit cold in the wind; +1/3, +2/3 and I went up the world famous Abernethy Round Tower (okay, famous as far as Fife), lunch, out for a cycle, stop at the park then the grand national (I went for Planet of Sound); some more pictures.

Clearly what we needed to round off the day was another trip to the hospital, this time for +3/3. It turns out the grumpiness and temperature was down to tonsillitis. Cue antibiotics and more calpol.
