Backside of a Great Tit

Today's the day ............................ to nest

We were doing a bit of gardening today in the front garden - or at least Will was doing the hard work and I was issuing instructions - and that's when I noticed it.

There was a great tit going into a nestbox on the silver birch tree with something in its beak. It flew away - but a few minutes later - the same thing happened again. There must be a bit of nest-building going on.
