Sweet Child of Mine

Santon Downham

Back to Santon Downham today to complete our geocaching there. We found 10 out of 10 caches! It was our most successful day so far!

Elizabeth's treasure was: stickers, a mini chocolate egg, more stickers, a jelly baby, a teeny tiny 10 pin bowling set, a flower key ring and a bottle of bubbles (hence the blip). We brought some of her treasures, the others came from the caches. She was very happy anyway. She's getting great at looking for treasure too.

Elizabeth also decided to look for bears while we were there... this came out of the blue. She also said she was scared of the bears, but she still wanted to look for them.

Funniest quote of the day was: "I want to be carried, I'm too windy to walk."

Rebecca is now sitting up really well. She can sit unaided for a few minutes. I don't think it will be long before we can leave her to it! She's also been getting a few bits of food to munch on. I'm looking at it as pre-weaning... mostly it's been crusts of bread, but she had some sticks of cooked carrot this evening. I have tried her again with baby rice and she wasn't interested. So I'll stick with what we're doing just now and try the purees in a few weeks time.
