Eat, Pray, Love: The Prequel

Tess saw this in a local garden centre and there followed a "frank and honest discussion" about its relative merits / naffness, with the result that we left it there. However, our daughter, Kate, turned up with it yesterday as an Anniversary present, on the grounds that it would deter the birds from removing my newly laid grass seed on our patchy lawn, so here it is in its new home. I still suspect that whilst I have followed the first commandment, the birds will move straight on to commandment 3 before #2 can happen! However, I remain outnumbered. In the meantime I suppose I could pray that I grow to love it.
