Lower Orchard and Marsh - Nine of Twelve
This is nine of twelve and should have been taken and posted yesterday, but as I was going to the blip meet I wanted something from that instead. I doubt one day makes much difference and as you can see the blossom on the trees in this part of the garden are still not much in evidence. If you look in the distance, behind the pear tree, (the taller one) you can see our neighbours have a large tent pitched in their garden; I think their teenage daughters have friends staying!
There was a frost again early this morning and at 0900 hours as you can see the grass was still white in places, but the sun was shining brightly.
I have now put some more pictures from the blip meet onto my Flickr page if anyone wants to look; some show the blue sky which appeared occasionally. Do not be fooled by this, it was very cold. I see that the group photograph of our blip meet, posted by blast yesterday made the spotlight.
