L is for Ladybird

A very wet morning here, but I am not complaining as we need the rain. However, briefly this afternoon the sun came out so I went on a ladybird hunt and found just one. It now looks like it will rain again with some dark clouds gathering.

Today we have L is for Ladybird as part of PontyCyclopes alphabet challenge. If you look closely at this one you can see some aphids and some white spidery type creatures, but the ladybird is ignoring them and running up the chive stalk.
