Aether

Following on from yesterday's blip. This is the other side of the pendant. It represents the element of Aether (space, the universe, heavens, the air above the terrestrial space). As this year the elements for Beltane are being run as a combined elemental group, we decided to include the fifth element of Aether (also known as ether). As it happens, N, B and I have all ended up with Aether as our element and within our performance it is being awoken by the coming together of the traditional elements (Earth, Air, Fire, Water). We're using puppets for our performance and Aether is being represented by a golden dragon. Our brain storming of the elements had aether strongly connected to space and constellations and as such we have adopted a star as the symbol to represent it.

Since yesterday I have found out that the wood is Hemlock.
