Redcurrants

As I was due to leave the house today there was a buzz at the door. Turned out it was live plants so I had to stop and unpack them. It turned out it was a bareroot redcurrant cordon. A quick 5 minute delay whilst I quickly stuck it in a pot with some compost and I was back out the door. This will be another addition to my "fruit patch" at my friends house. Most of the berries I've chosen take a couple of years before they produce fruit so I'm starting them off now with the hope that I can move them on to my allotment when I finally get it.
