Eat your heart out Baker Boys

We had to stay in this morning to receive some deliveries, amongst them a new compact camera. It is the first expensive item I have ever ordered from Hong Kong and I was rather nervous about the transaction. I needn't have been. I had ordered it late on Sunday, it was collected from the vendor's at 17:29 hrs local time on Monday and delivered to me at 10:24 today, postage free. The first photo I took on it was this loaf of bread which I had baked this morning.

In the afternoon I went birdwatching hoping to take a better subject to blip but I was unable to approach close enough to any bird for a photo, despite also taking a DSLR and long lens.
