This house greets walkers across a metal footbridge. It's close to the river and too beautiful to be abandoned.

Sometimes I wonder what this world is coming to when empty houses disintegrate while so many people, myself included, can't even afford rent. I lived in a barn last year, and would lovingly care for a house like this if it meant a place of my own.
