'Neath the Shady Palms

The last week has been busy and tiring, between long days of work and the emotion of my younger daughter getting her first tattoo.

Today I spent the entire day in my upstairs workroom, gazing out the window occasionally at the brilliant sunshine and longing for the order that I am working on to finally be completed.

At least my little blue car, waiting patiently for me in the car park downstairs, looked quite content, parked beside an oasis of palm trees among the cement surroundings.
