Meet Another Family Member
I recently introduced Miss Tibbs, my sweet little helper who follows me everywhere.
Today, as an indoor photo is called for, due to the day of rain we have had, I thought it an opportune time to introduce Miss Tibbs big sister, Phoebe.
Phoebe asked us to rescue her from a local pet shop in early 1999, when she was only two months old, making her now thirteen years of age. Phoebe has an extremely loud, rumbling purr, is excessively affectionate, (when she's in the mood to be!), loves to cuddle up with me in bed and on the lounge chair, and if she's really happy, she gives you the ultimite honour of dribbling on you!
Her best friend in the family is my youngest son, who she grew up with, as he was only a year old when we found Phoebe.
Did you think I would be telling you that Miss Tibbs was Phoebe's best friend? Not likely! Phoebe was Queen Cat ~ Phoebe is Queen Cat, and Miss Tibbs is the little tyrant who tries to steel Phoebe's crown, every single day! Phoebe sussed out what the little scally-wag was up to a long time ago and she stands her ground and will not relinquish her crown to anyone!
Please, don't hold you breath waiting for a photo of Miss Tibbs and Phoebe together, it just isn't going to happen. Not unless I take a photo of their rear ends, side by side, eating dinner. That's the only time they seem to be able to reach some sort of compromise!
