Where have all the bluebells gone?

It's poured down with rain more or less all day here so my photographic opportunities have been limited. I went a walk locally with my camera, which I now knows performs OK when soaking wet, and took a few photos of this remnant of a bluebell wood. It wasn't very long ago when the ground here was an absolute carpet of blue in the spring and it makes me wonder where all the bluebells have gone.
