Insomnia

I woke in the middle of the night thinking about the complexities of my trip to England. I want to come over to see my mother but my boss at work is whittling down my days of leave and making life difficult. Also because of cheap airlines I thought I could get to and from Trondheim in Norway easily but it doesn't appear to be one of those destinations. I found a flight return uk to Trondheim that was 2000 pounds which is more expensive than sydney London return!!!! Also worried about Liam: he won't understand why I've gone and won't know of I'm returning. Anyway, when you can't sleep you are supposed to get up and do something although I don't find writing at a screen soothing! Also had a financial advisor here yesterday to try and plan for retirement as our pension funds didn't escape the GFC. More pressingly I have work in a few hours. Alex has a friend round staying as its school holidays and they will be up at the crack of dawn. It is nice to see him having such a good time though.
