Dinner
It feels very poor to have done the emergency cat blip followed by the emergency dinner blip but by the time I had got myself up to date with my digital life I couldn't be arsed with anything else. It was however a very nice dinner that was driven by the need to use up stuff in the fridge before it went bad, so a beef and fennel stew (with a nod to our French friends in Burgundy and wink in Portugal's general peri-peri direction), served with some very British horseradish and garlic mash was the result and it was bloody lovely.
Tried and tried and tried to finish the 9th deadly descent on SSX but I still can't even get halfway down, so now I'm listening to trancey krautrock in an attempt to ease myself into the idea of sleeping for a reasonable amount of time before I go to work again.
EDIT
I also had a good play with my iRig (which connects a guitar to the iPhone) today. After having bought the full 'Amplitube' app, rather than just using the free version I'd used previously, it appears quite a bit of physical hardware can now be dumped in favour the iPhone. Not that the physical hardware was that good or expensive in the first place, but I have it all in my pocket now. Mind you the phone would cost nearly £700, which would net you a fairly comprehensive Digital Audio Workstation, but it wouldn't fit in your pocket.
