~Gambel's Quail~

Did I ever have a hectic day today, whew!
And I still hadn't taken a photograph for Blip yet.
The sun was getting ready to go below the horizon.
And with it, my light was beginning to fade, too.
Lucky me, this quail was just begging to be photographed.
He was sitting on my back fence, up on top of the hill.
The angle looks a little strange to me, but I was shooting up.
And I was in a last-ditch effort for an image for the day.
I guess this is my version of a 'Desperation Blip'!
I'll be more attentive tomorrow to my photographic needs.
