which came first....

....the chicken or the egg?

after taking our little visitor home yesterday we stopped for a cuppa and a chat. me and kate can talk for England! and we did and often do! kids were playing and then escaped in to the soggy garden with no shoes on yuck !

callum came in carrying these beauties that kate's hens had laid...she kindly said he could take them home and have them for tea.

after a long chat we realised the time and had to dash home i had to be at work .

unfortunately we didn't have the eggs yesterday ...BUT we are having them tonight for tea! yummy so before they hit the pan i thought id snap them . im sure they are gonna taste yummy .


i would quite like chickens in the garden but hubby says no....maybe really fresh eggs will change his mind ?

did nothing today was absolutly shattered ....and have got to go to work again tonight 4 twilight shifts in a row knock me for 6.

but the week end is nearly here so i can rest up & have some family time ....we also have a party to go to tomorrow night .
