Sweet Dreams.

So I just made it in before midnight.

Went out for a meal with the daughter in Blairgowrie tonight. Smashing little fish restaurant called Little's. Nothing little about it though. Started off with marinated squid and olives accompanied by homemade bread and fresh butter. then the man had the most intense tomato soup with fish balls (no jokes)! For mains there was a selection of pan fried lemon sole in brown butter with roasted almonds, halibut with welsh rarebit and queen scallop and monkfish risotto. All finished off with roast banana, parfait and mango ice cream served in a brandy basket accompanied by chocolate sauce. Oh and a wee expresso with Scottish fudge. If you are in the area it's well worth checking out.

Walked back to the car along the Ericht and got a big smile from a guy that was standing in the gushing water and rain as he did a spot of fly fishing. I think my evening was a bit more comfortable (and was probably less expensive) but who knows. At least there are no midges at this time of year.

Off to Cowdenbeath tomorrow where, hopefully, the man's team will pick up the championship. However, if I'm not quick that will be today!
