Corra the Gardener is not afraid to get dirty. She'll work for cheap too - fueled by chicken!

On our evening walk I was trying to get some pictures of these really pretty white flowers on a tree - only to discover that Corra was digging up the bed the trees were in and pulling up the roots! You probably wouldn't guess that she has been pooping her little brains out for the past two days now would you?! After she threw up her breakfast this afternoon almost 5 hours after she'd eaten it (in basically an undigested form) - I decided it was best to take her to the vet. She was x-rayed and poked and prodded - luckily, as of right now it doesn't look like she has a blockage of any kind. The vet also gave her an anti-nausea medicine. She said the cool part about this drug is that it is very effective - typically if dogs still throw up after having this pill the dog either has a blockage or cancer. So far she is keeping the pill and some treats down and it has been nearly 4 hours. Fingers crossed she keeps everything down! She just finished up a meal of brown rice and boiled chicken. Poor pup must have been starving :( So now she and Loki are both on antibiotics for the next few weeks. Really hoping we can stay away from the new vet I like so much!
