Picture perfect day today (pun totally intended). Had a long leisurely lunch with some former colleagues; saw my cherry blossom pix on display in my former place of employment (our semi-annual meetings are taking place and the next will be in Japan, so this was a bit of a nod to our hosts to be); went on a four-hour walkabout with a friend who thankfully is patient enough to indulge my stopping every two seconds to take a picture of yet something else that caught my eye. Topped it all with some delicious Thai food at the terrace of 'dumpling bar.' Came home to find out that hubby had bought a new TV for our downstairs playroom: the thing is so huge I think I need eyes on the sides of my head to take in the whole picture...

Tomorrow, off to vote in the first round of the French presidential elections -- for whatever good that may do in that foregone conclusion....
