Quiet reflections before the starter's whistle

As the serious athletes, the fun runners, the walkers and associated guide-dogs gathered at the start of the Deafblind Scotland 5K canal run, the reflections in the water were like a prediction of how wet they would all be by the time the reached the finish. From warm sunshine to heavy rain to hail-stones - definitely four seasons in one race.
