Memorial to the victims of communism

This moving memorial, a series of self-portraits by sculptor Olbram Zoubek, is in a park we've walked by a few times on our way between where we are staying and the old city.

We finished touring the Prague Castle area today and went back to Stare Mesto (the main square) to see the Astronomical clock do its thing at 3pm. The crowds in the city today, especially as the day went on, were really ridiculous. We retreated pretty quickly to the Mala Strana and Smichov areas that were much quieter.

We've now seen 9 bridal parties in Prague - some just taking pictures and others with cars decorated and full bridal parties. Does anyone know why late April is such a popular time to get married here? We can't figure it out.
