Lyme Park

Good day at Lyme Park, Cheshire with our own personal tour guide- thank you K. Granny and Uncle also in attendance so quite a family outing.

Beautiful grounds (Pride and Prejudice was filmed here so you can stand in the spot where Colin Firth emerges from the lake if that does it for you) lovely house and atmospheric panelled cafe. Lots to do for kids and highly recommended.

FIJ enjoyed dragging me and NCJ around to look at the flowers. Lazy photo today as I was still recovering from last night's late bedtime so lacking in inspiration. However, it captures the spirit of the afternoon.
