St George's Day

Chorley has been busy with St George's Day fun. We had a big pancake breakfast, bid the relatives farewell this morning and then went to Astley Park's fun day. Punch and Judy, lots of people in animal costumes (FIJ was apoplectic with terror), a play put on by the local high school and Morris dancing.

2 highlights: This Chinese dragon dance done by a Manchester Kung fu group and the Chorley Silver band who brought a lump to the throat.

The sun even made an appearance.

Home, roast dinner and now an early night. Perfect.
