The Cutty Sark

I have memories of this ship in dry dock for as long as I can remember. Following the fire in 2007 it has been restored and raised off its keel. Today Greenwich residents had the chance to see the (almost) totally refurbished ship.

So, the whole family trooped along to see what there was to see.

The ship looks excellent, particularly the deck and masts - and the cafe/viewing area under the ship.

It is wonderful to have this iconic Greenwich landmark back again and to see the masts as you come from Greenwich Park. The Queen will pop along on Wednesday and it is open to the public from Thursday.
