London Marathon

We have been going to the Marathon since 1983. We get up really early, before the roads close at 7 am, and drive down to Mrs Soup's mum. There we join Christine, Keith, Amy and Jack for the full English. Excellent - thank you Joan! It's a five minute walk round the corner to the Marathon route. We applaud the runners, take photos, put money in buckets, and pass out jelly babies...

Lez runs at our local parkrun on Saturdays - on Sundays he does marathons!

Congratulations to Lez and everyone else who ran the marathon today, including Bob's niece Cathy. It was a lovely day - sunny enough for the spectators and cool enough for the runners.
